The Malaysia & Singapore Vintage Car Register (MSVCR) Penang Round Island Rally (PRIR) will be held on 25th – 27th March 2022. This traditional event was first held in the 1960s and is now an annual fixture in the classic and vintage motoring calendar.

This year’s edition features a Vintage Car Show / Concours competition, with lots of fun, food & fellowship. The main event starts on Saturday, 26th March at a seafront heritage property with a buffet lunch served for PRIR entrants. The competition is divided into age-related classes with a point-scoring system. Bayview Hotel Georgetown will be the base for the event with secured and covered parking provided. An evening reception and a buffet dinner await entrants at the hotel’s rooftop Three Sixty Revolving Restaurant and Sky Bar overlooking spectacular city views.

Sunday’s competition, which is both fun and challenging, will take you around George Town and other lesser-known parts of Penang.

There is also an optional early start on Friday, 25th March for those driving or transporting cars long distances.

The event concludes with a beachside lunch in the vicinity closer to the 2nd bridge, for its easy highway access.
